Sardinia in the grip of bad weather, with overwork of the firefighters in different areas of the island due to flooding and strong winds.

As in Sassari and in Gallura, where the 115 men have carried out numerous interventions to respond to calls for help due to the disturbance that is affecting the area.

In addition to the flooding, fire crews went into action due to fallen and unsafe trees, blocked elevators and short circuits.

Yesterday evening the west coast of the island was affected by a lightning storm ( here the video from Bosa Marina ), while the east coast was lashed by strong gusts of mistral.

Precisely because of the wind, the mayor Settimo Nizzi in Olbia signed an ordinance for the closure of the Fausto Noce urban park.

In these hours the bad weather has also reached southern Sardinia

with rain, strong mistral wind and drastic lowering

temperatures, up to 10 degrees less.
