Today the first bell among a thousand doubts, which the screening wanted by the Region has not eliminated, and many protests. Of the students who do not want to enter the class today, of the principals who ask for remote teaching until the end of the month, and of some mayors who instead decided to keep the schools closed for a few more days "because the infections, even among small children , unfortunately they are flying ».

In Seulo schools closed, eight other mayors protest for not having received swabs and not being able to screen their students: it was not peaceful, especially in Southern Sardinia, on the eve of the resumption of face-to-face lessons after the long holidays marked by the 'explosion of infections from Covid-19.

In Seulo, Enrico Murgia issued an order to keep schools in the town closed after the detection of a dozen positives, four of which awaiting confirmation or denial from the molecular: he explained that the voluntary screening, to which the Seoulese responded massively, it did not allow a sweep of the student population. Hence the appeal to "undergo all the necessary laboratory tests in the next few days and communicate the results to the administration". Schools that will remain closed until Saturday also in Cabras and Milis due to too many infections.

In the Gerrei in San Nicolò, Escalaplano, Armungia, Silius, Ballao, Villasalto and San Basilio, the screening was not done at all: the mayors complain of the "total absence" of Ats who did not send medical personnel as per regional ordinance. "We have given availability and support with the withdrawal of tampons - they write - but we are forced to see the abandonment by the health and political institutions that now govern the Region". Same situation in Nurri: "We have not found health personnel available," explains Mayor Antonello Atzeni.

In Senorbì the appointment with the screening is for today at 9 in the vaccination hub in via Vittoria Nenni (yesterday stormed for the open day) and from tomorrow in the individual institutes. only one positive was found, but about twenty people have already been reported by the ATS, and it is no better in neighboring countries (where most of the students of the higher education institution come from). Students think of a mass absence, parents are divided. "Based on the results of the screening - warns the mayor Luca Pilia - the Region will tell us what to do". In Capoterra the students of the Sergio Atzeni institute write to Ats and their mayor to ask to postpone the return to school and do two weeks of distance learning because, at present, it would be impossible to guarantee safety in means of transport and in school environments.

A CAGLIARI - Many Cagliari students ask for postponement and Dad for at least two weeks, today in protest they are not in the classroom.

There are numerous petitions that are currently running on the web, addressed to the Prime Minister Mario Draghi, to the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi and to the presidents of the Region, who have already collected over thirty thousand signatures.

"90% of the students prefer Dad," explains Lorenzo Ara, school representative of the Euclid high school. «The structural shortcomings of schools are increasingly evident: it is not possible to ensure efficient spacing both at the entrance to the institutes and inside the classrooms due to their under capacity, and we also do not have adequate air sanitization systems. Dad, although there are many against, is currently the only viable alternative ».
