A 26-year- old drug dealer was arrested by the state police in Cagliari after he was caught trying to get rid of cocaine to escape control.

It happened yesterday evening, when two young people in a car circulating in Viale Marconi , seeing the Volante, tried to get rid of a small wrapper , which later turned out to contain 5 grams of cocaine.

The agents then proceeded to personal check the driver (26 years old) and the passenger (30 years old), finding a pattadese-type switchblade on the driver and the cash sum of 60 euros, probably the proceeds of a dealing activity. The check was then also extended to the 26-year-old's home, where the policemen found another 4 grams of cocaine, 59 grams of cannabis , 2 precision scales , the sum of 490 euros in banknotes of various denominations, scissors and folding knives. , the latter materials used for the packaging of the drug in plastic bags.

The driver was also sanctioned for driving the car without ever having obtained a driving license and with the vehicle without insurance coverage and regular periodic inspection.

The 26-year-old was arrested for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing and reported for carrying weapons and objects capable of offending, while the passenger was denounced for aiding and abetting.
