Five years, six months and 18 days in prison. This is the sentence that a 40-year-old man, accused of attempted murder, will have to serve.

The facts date back to July 2007, when in Piscinas the man, together with others, committed an attack with a knife and a billhook.

In recent days the imprisonment order arrived, carried out in Masainas by the Giba carabinieri, at the end of the judicial process, which ended after the verdict of the Court of Cassation, which declared the appeal presented by the man against the guilty verdict inadmissible .

The military then tracked him down and transferred him to Uta prison.
