Great mourning for the farewell of the 24-year-old forest ranger who died in a road accident while going to put out a fireIn Assemini the funeral of Michele Murenu , the 24 year old who died on Saturday in a road accident while going to put out a fire .
At 4.30pm sharp the coffin was carried into the church of the Blessed Virgin of Carmine , accompanied by the emotional applause of those present and the guard of honour of his colleagues from the Forestry Corps .
Today, for the last farewell, the mayor Mario Puddu has decreed a day of mourning.
