Arzana, isolated animals: farmers organize themselves into groups to bring in the fodder

The snow that has fallen profusely in the Nuoro area is creating various inconveniences in the farms located in the mountains.

In some areas of Ogliastra, Arzana in particular, several breeders have organized themselves into small groups to bring the fodder to the cattle left isolated in the stables.

With some pick-ups they managed to cross the country roads, covered by a thick blanket of snow, to refresh the animals.

The vehicles were loaded with numerous bales of hay and were slowly brought up to the farms. An intervention of mutual aid that made it possible to feed many animals, not just cattle.
