Arzachena, ill while taking a bath: the lifeguard avoids the tragedy
His intervention was providential, the lifeguard took the 50-year-old out of the water and revived him before entrusting him to the 118 doctors

Tragedy touched this morning on the beaches of Cannigione, in Arzachena, a stone's throw from the Costa Smeralda.
A 50-year-old man was in the area of the Riva Azzurra beach when he fell ill while bathing in the water opposite.
Providential intervention by the lifeguard, who saw the man in obvious difficulty from the tower and dived into the water bringing him to safety and avoiding a drowning that seemed inevitable.
The same lifeguard, once he brought the 50-year-old to shore, applied the first resuscitation maneuvers, then entrusted him to the care of the 118 doctors.
On the spot also the soldiers of the Maddalena Coast Guard who monitored the rescue operations.
