The Day of National Unity with the Day of the Armed Forces, in memory of the end of the First World War, will be celebrated this year in Cagliari with an institutional ceremony in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto.

The appointment has already been set in the agendas of the Quirinale and the competent dicastery but the detailed program is still top secret.

All we know is that the event - last year in Bari - is scheduled for Saturday 4 November at 11.30 at the port, in the area of Calata Mariano Delogu .

According to what we learn, in addition to the parade with deployments of all the armed forces there will be a representation of the Sassari Brigade with the band known throughout Italy, and beyond, for the Dimonios anthem shouting "Forza Paris".

The national aerobatic team will also return to Cagliari with the Frecce Tricolori which will once again dart across the Sardinian sky after the performance last August 20th at Poetto. A flyover over the city that will be paired, on the same day, with the one in Rome over the Altare della Patria.

However, the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Senate Ignazio La Russa have not yet been confirmed. This year the celebrations could undergo some cuts "for security reasons".

In fact, the event in Rome that was also scheduled for November 4th at the Circus Maximus was cancelled.
