Arbus, a bin full of hashish on the beach of the penal colony

A bin half-hidden by the sand containing several kilos of hashish , over 15.

The discovery occurred two days ago on a stretch of beach within the area of the penal colony of Is Arenas , where the penitentiary police officers were engaged in one of their daily checks. They were carrying out a patrol along the beach and suddenly noticed, half hidden among the vegetation and the sand, a container and immediately became suspicious. A quick check and they found the hashish, divided into blocks wrapped in cellophane. The drug was immediately seized, at the moment further investigations are underway to try to understand how the drug arrived in that area.

The work of the agents is constant and never stops, as confirmed by the Uspp union. «The penitentiary police personnel engaged in the Is Arenas colony despite having a reduced staff – comments the secretary Andrea Pistis – is always on the front line and plays a fundamental role for checks and security as this latest operation also demonstrates».
