The actor and director Antonio Albanese spent an entire day in Mandas, accompanied by the mayor Umberto Oppus, visiting the historic center and the most evocative areas of the small town in the upper Trexenta. "We are honored to have had a person of such great delicacy and humility as a guest," said the mayor.
The popular comedian (famous in particular for his characters appearing in the television program "Mai dire Gol") was in Sardinia for the inauguration of the 2023 opera and ballet season of the Teatro Lirico with the staging of "Gloria" and took advantage of it to get in touch with a more internal area of the island. «It was an honor to have had him as a guest and above all to have been able to touch the sensitivity of an artist who, with his new work, not only stages a play, but offers a key to the tourist promotion of our island and of our archeology thanks to art», concluded Oppus.
Several citizens of Mandas wanted to take a picture with Albanese, the amusing episode with Pietro Scioni who, after asking him too to immortalize the meeting with the actor and director, was told in a joking tone: «They make 8 euros, thanks ». An improvised sketch that amused those present.
It is not the first time that Mandas has hosted important personalities from the world of cinema and entertainment.
