A 42-year-old from Cagliari , with no criminal record and manager in a company and a 24-year-old Polish resident in Serramanna , unemployed and known to the police, were arrested yesterday in Iglesias by the police for the thefts that occurred during the night in three bars in Carbonia .

The entrance doors of the three public businesses had been forced open with large screwdrivers.

The two were stopped by the military in Villamassargia while they were traveling along the SP2 on board a Fiat 500L owned by the woman. They were found in possession of 725 euros divided into banknotes and coins of various denominations, essentially the cash fund that had been stolen from the three bars, as well as various burglary tools.

The immediate investigative activity carried out made it possible to recover the images taken by the video surveillance systems of the commercial establishments involved , which confirmed the responsibilities .

The two spent the night in the security rooms of the Iglesias Company, waiting to be judged in a very direct rite this morning at the Court of Cagliari.
