The second edition of the transfeminist festival, dedicated to women's work, MurMur Teatro curated by SpazioT, closes today, Sunday 4 May. A rich program that has involved many artists, playwrights, actresses, directors and that ends with two events of Il Crogiuolo di Cagliari.
It starts at 6 pm with a show for boys and girls: “The Rebel Princess and Other Stories of Rebellion” with Marta Gessa. The protagonist is a little girl who loves reading books so much that she risks staying up all night just to finish the stories that she is passionate about. For some time now, however, she has found the classic stories about princesses waiting to be saved by a prince boring. She prefers action. She would like to be such a rebellious princess, to become a blue princess, who hunts dragons.
The event continues at 9 pm with a refined musical tribute to the history and ideas of an exceptional, modern and scandalous figure, such as Joyce Lussu, narrated by the voice of Rita Atzeri and enriched by the harp notes of Chiara Vittone performed live. A literary recital where the life of the partisan, writer, translator, and wife of Emilio Lussu, is narrated by telling the story and ideas that guided her.
The T is located in via Kennedy 107A in Alghero. Places are limited and reservations are recommended by email murmurteatro@gmail.com or by calling 333 2490855.
