Alghero, the hydrogen train for the airport displeases everyone
In the Catalan city, residents, majority and opposition agree: "The work must be revised"Video di Fausto Spano
The Alghero city council meeting was open and attended like it hasn't been in a long time.
On the agenda, the discussion related to the project of the connection between Sorso, Sassari and Alghero with the Riviera del Corallo airport, using the hydrogen trains that Arst has already ordered from the Spanish company Stadler.
The total cost of the project, financed by the PNRR, is 300 million euros and also includes the construction of an 8-kilometer flyover between the Riviera del Corallo and the Muntanas station, the junction point of the line, where a depot for train maintenance, a hydrogen storage plant and a 6-hectare photovoltaic park will also be built.
A project imposed from above - say the inhabitants of the hamlets - that should be reviewed. On the same line opposition and majority that in addition to listening to the various requests, aim to limit the consequences of a project on which by now everything seems to have already been decided.
