Alghero, sixty-year-old dies before take-off for Bratislava

He died shortly before take-off, due to a sudden illness, on the Ryanair flight Alghero-Bratislava this afternoon.

The victim is a Polish citizen of about 60 years old, boarded the Boeing of the Irish low cost company that was supposed to take off at 15.20. But the tragedy occurred on the runway of Fertilia.

The man felt ill as soon as he boarded the aircraft, but despite immediate assistance from airport personnel, he died. The flight, which departed at 6:00 p.m., was inevitably delayed.
