The pharmacy of the Marino hospital in Alghero has reduced the hours of service to the public to a minimum . The inconveniences are enormous for those who need to follow therapies and find themselves in line , waiting for their turn, especially the elderly.

" It is no longer tolerable that the pharmacy of the Marino hospital in Alghero remains open only one day a week ," snaps Forza Italia regional councilor Marco Tedde . The service from five days a week has moved to just one.

"Most of these citizens who have to wait their turn for hours are unfortunately suffering from chronic diseases", underlines Tedde.

The Alghero regional councilor once again denounces that the promises of hiring twenty pharmacists are not enough. "We reiterate that beyond the long and uncertain times, twenty new pharmacists spread throughout the Region constitute an unfortunately insufficient and in some ways laughable number ", attacks the former mayor of Alghero. According to the exponent of Forza Italia, it is necessary to say enough to this anachronistic situation of precariousness.

«We reiterate the need for Ares to give private pharmacies the possibility of distributing medicines and medical aids. We know the competence of the new councilor Doria and we are reasonably certain that this time the report will be accepted".

In Tedde's opinion, the agreement with Federfarma needs to be strengthened to allow the affiliated pharmacies to distribute the medicines necessary for the therapeutic plans.
