Dall’altra parte del mare dedicates a special evening to “La Nostra cucina di casa”, the new book by Luca Pappagallo, a star chef on the web and TV, founder of cookaround and animator of the portal “Casa Pappagallo”.

Conversing and duetting at the stove with Luca Pappagallo will be the journalist and culinary historian Giovanni Fancello, author of the award-winning "Grazia Deledda and food".
The event will also be attended by Cantine Galavera di Usini, who will offer the public a glass of their wines.
The appointment is for Friday 31 January at 6:30 pm in the former fruit market in via Sassari in Alghero.

"In the new book Luca Pappagallo - we read in a note - opens the doors of his kitchen to explore the roots of Italian tradition, made by grandmothers and grandfathers of yesterday and today, but also by all those who are passionate about authentic and sincere flavors. The recipes were born on the stove at home, prepared with the typical ingredients of our land, written down in notebooks passed down in the family, memories of hands in the dough and tastings halfway through cooking".
From fish cannelloni to sweet casatiello, from cotechino in crust to carabaccia, from torta pasqualina to Neapolitan migliaccio, passing through falsomagro, maritozzi, stracotto: a tasty collection of dishes for all occasions, whether it's a quick dinner or special holidays.

The event is one of the previews of Dall'altra parte del mare , the festival organized by the Itinerandia Association with the collaboration of the Cyrano Bookshop and the patronage and support of the Alghero Foundation, the Municipality of Alghero, the Municipality of Putifigari and the Chamber of Commerce.
