Alghero lacks a quorum, skips the commission: minority on the attack

The IV council commission is skipped due to lack of a quorum and the opposition calls for the mayor's resignation .

On the agenda was the discussion on "territorial pedagogical coordination for public education and social services", but the session was deserted. «Resignation seems to us to be the only path that can be followed with dignity . «The UDC knowingly decided to leave out the quorum, – they explain – a more than understandable choice after the mess made in the city council, when Conoci and his cronies tried to blow up the agenda on the airport presented by the 'Udc and the Reformers. On that occasion once again the mayor's inability to lead and keep his former majority united clearly emerged. Today, with a joke given the theme of the commission, one could say that the UDC with a pedagogical absence has tried to educate the mayor, teaching him a lesson". In the opinion of his political opponents, "the only path left is that of the resignation of the mayor and of those councilors who still persist in supporting him".
