Alghero, he steals jewelry from an elderly woman: reported for receiving stolen goods

The Carabinieri of the Alghero station reported at liberty a man believed to be responsible for the crime of receiving stolen goods. A few days earlier, the military had intervened at the home of an elderly woman because an unknown person had managed to gain access to her apartment to steal two bracelets and four rings in gold and stones worth almost 10 thousand euros, jewels that the woman kept inside her bedroom.

The military immediately began their investigations, also combing through numerous “cash for gold” shops in the province of Sassari, and following prolonged and incessant searches, the jewels were located in two different commercial establishments.
The Carabinieri managed to recover part of the stolen goods which were returned to the rightful owner.

The woman appeared happy and moved considering the great emotional value that ties her to those jewels while a young man was reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari who coordinates and directs the investigations.
