Alghero, dozens of counterfeit items seized

Dozens of counterfeit clothing items were placed inside the luggage of passengers arriving from Türkiye, Senegal and Bangladesh via Rome Fiumicino.

This is what was seized during the anti-fraud activity carried out at the international arrivals hall of the “Riviera del Corallo” Airport in Alghero , by the officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency of the Sassari Customs Office, in synergy with the military of the Guardia di Finanza of the Alghero Company.

Travelers found in possession of the “fake” items, in application of the legislation provided for in cases of introduction into the territory of the State of small quantities of counterfeit goods , have been sanctioned. They risk fines of up to 7,000 euros.
