Alghero, debris rains down on Via Roma: shopping street closed

Debris is raining down on Via Roma, the shopping street , and so it has become necessary to close access to pedestrians.

Pieces of plaster have come loose from an old building and to avoid any risk to the safety of passers-by, it was decided to cordon off a short stretch of the paved road .

The ban concerns the upper part of the street , a stone's throw from the Porta Terra tower.
