The Municipality of Alghero has prepared a work plan to complete the Casa Manno museum, regional resources to redevelop the exhibition dedicated to Giuseppe Manno, magistrate, politician and historian from Alghero.

The structure, located in the heart of Alghero, houses a considerable exhibition heritage, made up of furnishings, paintings, sculptures, prints, ancient books, correspondence, manuscripts and original documentation, of absolute historical and artistic importance regarding the illustrious Sardinian intellectual. The works will allow the reorganization of new displays and new furnishings.

The exhibition itinerary, which winds through 11 rooms, offers, also thanks to the aid of multimedia supports, a cross-section of an era full of transformations and central to the process of national formation in Italian history. Manno's life and his writings tell the story of a people between the end of the eighteenth century and the long nineteenth century. The museum has a specific area dedicated to children and museum education. Work will start in 2024.
