The sentence of 27 years in prison was requested by prosecutor Rita Cariello against Angelo Brancasi, 45 years old, baker from Sant'Anna Arresi, accused of the aggravated murder of Alessio Madeddu , the chef from Teulada, 52 years old , found dead at the end of October 2021 in front of his restaurant in Porto Budello, in Teulada.
The trial for the murder of the chef, who became famous after chef Alessandro Borghese's TV show "Quattro Ristoranti", is coming to an end in front of the Assize Court of Cagliari presided over by judge Lucia Perra.
At the origin of the crime there was an alleged extramarital relationship between Alessio Madeddu and an employee, wife of the accused defended by the lawyer Giovanni Fara. Civil parties are lawyers Gianfranco Trullu, Dario Sarigu, Gian Nicola Dessì and Doriana Perra.
