The body of Alessandro Zuddas , professor of child neuropsychiatry at the University of Cagliari director of the Microcitemico child neuropsychiatry clinic who died yesterday due to an illness, was taken to the chapel of the Monserrato university hospital.
There he will remain for the whole day , to greet colleagues and friends of the esteemed teacher.
The tragedy took place yesterday on the coast of Is Arenas, in the Oristano area. Zuddas, 65, was on the beach with family when he accused the fatal illness .
When the alarm was raised, the helicopter rescue service from Sassari intervened on the spot, but the attempts of the health workers to save his life proved useless.
