MSC Cruises returns to the port of Cagliari after three years. This morning, coming from Valencia, the MSC Orchestra docked at the Molo Rinascita in the Sardinian capital. It will then continue to Civitavecchia and other stops in the Mediterranean ports.
From today, it will terminate in Cagliari every Monday for another 16 times, then the same route will be carried out by another MSC ship. A return welcomed with great satisfaction by the Mare di Sardegna port system authority and the Municipality of Cagliari.
«After about three years MSC returns to the port of Cagliari», declares the marketing manager of the Port Authority, Valeria Mangiarotti, «it was a tiring, long job, in recent years we have met the company several times, in the end we managed to have this return. The interesting aspect is that it arrives in the winter period and closes the year. On the 25th, Christmas Day, the Orchestra ship will close 2023 for Cagliari, then it will return in January. This gives us hope that MSC, together with Costa Crociere which we will have every week, will be loyal companies for 2024".
The MSC Orchestra is almost 300 meters long, for a maximum speed of 22.90 knots; 1,275 cabins, 950 crew members.
