The man who was injured this morning in a serious road accident at the intersection of 554 and via Torrente in Selargius is a 56-year-old from Selargius . He was traveling aboard a Honda Hornet motorcycle which, for reasons to be ascertained, collided with a car driven by a 74-year-old from Sinnai.

The centaur, after the impact, was thrown from the saddle and ended up on the asphalt. The driver of the car stopped immediately to provide first aid and raise the alarm. A 118 ambulance then intervened, transporting the motorcyclist to the hospital in red code: he suffered a facial and thoracic trauma, and the officers of the Selargius Municipal Police who are now reconstructing the dynamics.

Road traffic slowdowns have been recorded in the area.
