Over an hour of interrogation during which the governor Christian Solinas reiterated his extraneousness to the accusations made by the Prosecutor and retraced the bureaucratic process of appointing the regional directors general of the Presidency and Civil Protection: defined roles of a fiduciary nature, being necessary the presence of a "personal consonance with the political top" with which the chosen "will have to collaborate" to carry out the work, while the subsequent evaluation of the requisites required by the legislation for the persons appointed "was up to the competent Offices".

Therefore, having not received any negative comments on the presence of problems in the hands of the chosen ones (the lawyer Silvia Curto and the engineer Pasquale Belloi), it was taken for granted that everything was in order. And here is the definitive go-ahead. Thus the President of the Region this morning at the Palace of Justice answered the questions of the judge of the preliminary hearing Ermengarda Ferrarese, of the prosecutor Andrea Vacca and of his defense lawyer Salvatore Casula in the interrogation of the trial that sees him under accusation for abuse of office linked to those two appointments, which took place in 2019: according to the prosecutor, they were illegal because both new general managers did not have the qualifications required to fill those roles.

Also present in the courtroom were the commissioner for personnel Valeria Satta (accused of attempted extortion for the same incident: she allegedly put pressure on the former director general of personnel to sign the deed of appointment of Belloi. Assisted by the lawyer Massimiliano Ravenna, she had already answered questions in previous hearings) and Maria Grazia Vivarelli , chief of cabinet of Solinas, who responds to undue induction (protected by the lawyer Rinaldo Lai, has chosen the abbreviated procedure).

The next hearing will be on July 4th to discuss the abbreviated one, on the 18th it will be to discuss the ordinary rite.
