Last September they organized the "Put your heart" sporting event to support the pediatric cardiology department of the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari , in recent days they handed over to the head physician Roberto Tumbarello a check for 7,111 euros, the result of donations from citizens, businesses and merchants of Sarroch, Pula, Villa San Pietro and other centers of the Metropolitan City.

The project that aims to support the activities of the Brotzu pediatric cardiology department ended with the donation of the proceeds from the fundraiser created by the father of a heart disease child - with the collaboration of the Accademia Sulcitana di Villa San Pietro sports club and many volunteers .

The check was delivered directly to the chief physician on the day of the presentation of his book, entitled "The country of hearts". The archbishop of Cagliari, Monsignor Giuseppe Baturi , and the record-breaking goalkeeper of Cagliari, Adriano Reginato also took part in the event: the latter gave Professor Tumbarello a reproduction of the legendary 1970 rossoblù shirt , also signed by Gigi Riva .
