70 kilos of marijuana seized at the port of Olbia

70 kilos of marijuana were seized by the Financial Police during loading operations at the port of Isola Bianca in Olbia.

The drugs, which would have fetched over 100 thousand euros on the market, were divided into a hundred heat-sealed bags hidden on board a lorry transporting used furniture.

The truck driver was arrested for drug trafficking and taken to Nuchis prison, the truck was seized.

During the checks by the Fiame Gialle, the man appeared nervous and agitated. The financiers became suspicious and carried out a search with the help of drug-sniffing dogs, which had a positive outcome. The narcotic had been hidden inside some bar sofas.
