118 summer station activated: safer coast in Chia

Safer coastline since yesterday on the south-western side of the Gulf of Angels.
From 8am on Sunday the summer 118 station was activated in Chia, in the municipality of Domus De Maria. Until 12 July the service, guaranteed by the twinning between I Sardi Soccorso and Soccorso Uta Odv, will be divided into nursing care (12 hours during the day) and basic care (night time slot). From Friday, until September 9th, nursing care will be provided 24 hours a day.
In the following period, and until September 30th, we will return to the night-based subdivision.
The presence of the ambulance and the operators, following the signing of the agreement with Areus, plugs a hole in the summer rescue network.
