Actor Davide Iacopini, 42, is hospitalized in serious condition at San Camillo Hospital after being hit by a minicar while riding a scooter in Rome. Rescue operations began Monday evening on Via Anton Giulio Barrilli in Monteverde. When local police arrived, the actor—who starred in "Diaz" and the TV series "Suburra"—was lying on the ground and unconscious.

He was rushed to San Camillo Hospital, where he remains in intensive care. Local police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident, examining surveillance cameras.

The following day, a woman went to the Carabinieri to report an assault that occurred in the same area around 11 p.m. on Sunday . She told officers that she was approached by a minivan while she was returning home and that the passenger struck her on the head. The car then allegedly reversed, crashing into another scooter, which then crashed into several cars. An investigation is underway to determine whether there is a connection between the two incidents.
