A 3-5-2 formation will be Fabio Pisacane's final lineup of the season, against AC Milan. The Rossoblu coach—who has been out since last Sunday—is making a change from his usual lineup, however, as Marco Palestra is missing on the right. The full-back, playing his last since returning to Atalanta following the end of his loan spell, will start on the bench. Gabriele Zappa will be in his preferred position, with Adam Obert on the opposite flank. Gennaro Borrelli and Sebastiano Esposito will start in attack, with Paul Mendy and Yael Trepy joining the team after yesterday's 3-0 win in the play-offs against Napoli (both scoring).
Among the many players who are currently unavailable are Michael Folorunsho and Semih Kılıçsoy, whose season is not only over, but also their experience with the Rossoblu, as their future is in doubt. Mattia Felici, who started on the bench after suffering a serious knee injury on December 3rd in Naples in the Coppa Italia, is back for Milan-Cagliari. In defense, Zé Pedro, returning from suspension, will be joined by Yerry Mina and Juan Rodríguez. Gianluca Gaetano will play in midfield, with Michel Adopo and Alessandro Deiola (who was captain this evening, and will become a permanent captain next season without Leonardo Pavoletti in the squad) joining the Rossoneri in search of the points needed to qualify for the Champions League, a declared objective of former great Massimiliano Allegri.
