November 20 will be the day on which, in front of the Court of Assizes of Bergamo, Massimo Bossetti's lawyers will be able to view for the first time the findings of the investigation which led to the arrest and conviction of the carpenter from Mapello, in via definitive, for the murder of Yara Gambirasio.

During the hearing, the seals will be removed from the boxes which contain, among other things, the leggings and briefs of the thirteen-year-old gymnast from Brembate Sopra and on which the DNA was isolated, initially identified as "Unknown 1" and then traced back to Bossetti. . The lawyers will see the material, including the DNA samples themselves.

The request had been made by the man's defenders, but the Bergamo judges had always denied this authorization. It was the Court of Cassation, last May 19, that sent the case back to Bergamo, asking to authorize the viewing.

The defense will then be able to ask to analyze the various exhibits and, if something new emerges, possibly request a review of the trial.

Yara was kidnapped leaving the gym in Brembate Sopra on 26 November 2010, near her home, and found lifeless in a field in Chignolo d'Isola the following 26 February 2011. Massimo Bossetti, now 53 years old, was arrested on 16 June of 2014 and definitively sentenced to life imprisonment on 12 October 2018.
