Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on vacation in Puglia with her family.

Her whereabouts are top secret: all we know is that she's in the Itria Valley, likely in a private villa in Locorotondo . She's reportedly in the company of her daughter Ginevra and her ex-partner Andrea Giambruno. Also with them is the Undersecretary of Health and a friend of the Prime Minister, Marcello Gemmato, and his family.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister paid a surprise visit to a Corsican dog breeding farm on a farm in San Giovanni Rotondo.

"Giorgia, what is the quintessential Italian dog?" "It's the Italian Cane Corso," Meloni replies in a short video posted on social media by 28-year-old Aldo Mondelli, nephew of breeder Michele Bocci, owner of the kennel.

"I received a call from the prime minister asking me to visit the kennel. She arrived around 7 p.m., after a two-hour drive from the Itria Valley, and she inspected this Cane Corso, which she has a great passion for," Mondelli explained. He added: "It was supposed to be a very quick visit," he added. "Then my family and I treated her to cheeses and caciocavallo, and the meeting turned into a dinner with friends where we talked about politics, Italy, and even personal matters. She was delighted; being constantly in the spotlight isn't easy, so she loosened up a bit with us."
