Workplace accident in Carrara: worker crushed to death by marble slabs
The victim is a 44-year-old. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful.

A 44-year-old worker lost his life this morning in an accident at a marble company in Carrara (Massa Carrara).
The alarm was raised at 8:18 a.m. following an accident at the Santucci company on Via Provinciale Avenza in Massa. According to information gathered, the man was crushed by some marble slabs during a routine work session.
Unfortunately, when emergency responders arrived, there was nothing more they could do for the worker: the medical staff could only confirm his death.
