A woman was killed by her husband, who stabbed her during an argument.

Yet another feminicide occurred in a house on the outskirts of Taurisano, in the province of Lecce. The man - Albano Galati, 57 years old - was stopped by the police after he spontaneously handed himself over.

The victim – Aneta Danelczyk, originally from Poland – was 50 years old.

According to an initial reconstruction, the woman had taken refuge in a neighbor's house - who was slightly injured - in an attempt to escape her husband's attack. However, the man caught up with her and killed her with three stab wounds.
