Tragedy caused by bad weather in Reggio Calabria.
A man who was walking his dog was hit by a collapsed tree and died .
The accident occurred in the morning in via San Giuseppe, in the Gebbione district, in the southern area of the Calabrian city.
118, the Fire Brigade, the Police and the Municipal intervened on the spot.
The victim is Giovanni Pellicanò, 57 years old , a criminal lawyer known in the city. The man lived near the place where the tragedy occurred, a small pine forest located in via San Giuseppe, between viale Calabria and viale Aldo Moro. His brother also arrived at the scene.
The wave of bad weather affecting Calabria – there is an orange alert over almost the entire Region – has brought very strong gusts of wind to Reggio.
