Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, the funeral celebrated in the Cathedral of Turin
The ceremony on Saturday 10 February. The son of the last king of Italy, who died at the age of 87, will be buried in the Basilica of Superga

The funeral of Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, son of the last king of Italy Umberto II, who died yesterday at the age of 87 , will be held on Saturday 10 February at 3pm in Turin cathedral.
The "Royal House" communicated this with an official note, announcing that immediately after the funeral ceremony, Vittorio Emanuele will be buried "in a strictly private form" in the royal crypt in the Basilica of Superga, on the hill overlooking the Piedmontese capital.
On Friday 9th, from 12.30pm to 9pm, the funeral chapel will be set up inside the church of Sant'Uberto, inside the Royal Palace of Venaria.
