Varese, a large branch falls at the oratory: serious mother and seven-year-old daughter

Drama in an oratory in Luino, in the Varese area.

The branch of a horse chestnut broke off and fell on a group of people, seriously injuring a woman and her 7-year-old daughter.

To protect the child, the mother threw herself on her, suffering serious trauma to her back, face and arms. Rescued, she was taken in red code with the helicopter rescue to San Gerardo di Monza. The 7-year-old girl suffered a head and face trauma and was transported in red code to Pope John of Bergamo.

Smear wounds five other people, all in yellow code with trauma to the back and limbs.

Firefighters, five ambulances and the carabinieri attended the scene. The area has been cordoned off and restricted from passing.
