« Remove cell phones from classes during lesson hours ».

This was announced by the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara interviewed by Monica Setta in the program "Il Confronto".

The proposal, explained the Northern League politician, "goes in the direction of guaranteeing students and teachers study time in class without distractions".

Valditara also reiterated in the program his hypothesis of removing the basic income from young recipients who do not have compulsory schooling : "Either they fill the gap or they lose their income," he said.

Green light also to the proposal to provide " socially useful jobs for students who become protagonists of serious cases of bullying or violence ".

"We need to go back to the merits said Valditara - and in this key the great alliance that I also propose to companies and trade unions will be an essential method for overcoming the competitive gap that Italian technical and professional education suffers from compared to other international countries".
