Possible breakthrough in the investigation into the serial killer of Marinella di Sarzana (La Spezia).

The police have in fact stopped a man, as part of the investigation into the murders of Nevila Pjetri, a 35-year-old of Albanian origin,   and Carlo Bertolotti , a 43-year-old transsexual hairdresser, shortly after today's dawn on the outskirts of the Municipality on the border between Liguria and Tuscany.

According to the first rumors, it would be a Lunigiana craftsman .

The arrested man is a 44-year-old man residing in Aulla, to whom the car found a few hundred meters from the 35-year-old's body would be registered. A gray Ford Fiesta, without a license plate, inside which at least two gun cases and some traces of blood on a mat were found.

The investigations into Pjetri's death are currently separate from those for Bertolotti's murder .

The carabinieri of the operational department of La Spezia, led by Colonel Andrea Fabi have not notified the arrested person any formal measure against the 44-year-old, but they believe it can provide useful information to solve the case of the Marinella murders.

The chassis number of the vehicle, which was removed last night and seized by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia della Spezia, is decisive to trace the man.
