A work-related accident occurred this morning in Turin, on Via Genova, where a worker fell from a crane basket. Another worker was injured in the tragedy.
The victim, a 69-year-old Egyptian man, fell from a height of twelve meters. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Emergency services from 118, law enforcement, and Spresal inspectors intervened on site. Also on Via Genova on December 19, 2021, three assemblers, Filippo Falotico, 20, Roberto Peretto, 52, and Marco Pozzetti, 54, lost their lives after falling 40 meters while they were assembling a construction tower with a crane.
