Accident in Turin for the Frecce Tricolori. The aircraft were leaving for Vercelli, where they were supposed to perform. One of the planes crashed on the runway during take-off from Caselle airport.

A five-year-old girl died in the accident: she was inside a car: she was in transit on the road that runs along the perimeter of the airport when she was involved in the explosion. With her also her parents and her nine-year-old brother, taken to hospital under code yellow. All suffered burns

The pilot managed to eject from the aircraft and, thanks to the parachute, remained unharmed. For him too, only burns. "I have an engine problem": he would have communicated to his team leader.
