Truck falls from the viaduct and goes up in flames, the driver dies

Scary accident this morning on the A1 motorway at kilometer 274, near Calenzano (Florence).

After losing control, a lorry skidded fearfully, falling from the Marinella viaduct.

The vehicle went up in flames, nothing to be done for the driver who died.

The stretch of motorway between Calenzano and Barberino di Mugello in the direction of Bologna was closed, the fire brigade, traffic police patrols and 118 operators intervened on the spot.

A scary flight made by the truck, which had a semi-trailer loaded with fruit and vegetables. The lifeless body of the driver was inside the cab, the scenario faced by the operators who intervened on the spot was catastrophic.
