Trapped in the sofa bed: 13-year-old dies of suffocation

Tragedy in a house in Asti, where a 13-year-old suffocated to death, after the sofa bed he was lying on closed again, leaving him no way out.

The alarm was given by the cousin of the boy, of Senegalese origin and, it seems, of very thin build, who was alone at home at the time of the dramatic accident.

The firefighters and carabinieri then intervened on the spot. However, the maneuvers to be able to extract him alive were useless. Military and medical examiner could not help but ascertain his death, entrusting, after all the necessary investigations, the body to the family for the funeral.
