Over 10 people are allegedly being investigated for the death of top manager Fabio Attilio Cairoli, 58, who suffered a fatal illness on the evening of 8 July last on his yacht moored on the island of Giglio (Grosseto).

Prosecutor Carmine Nuzzo notified the notices of guarantee to doctors, nurses and health workers, including laboratory technicians, of the emergency room of the Orbetello hospital where Cairoli, at the top of Igt and Global Lottery, had gone to be examined due to persistent pains. Resigned, he then felt ill.

The prosecutor wants to understand if Cairoli could have been saved. An autopsy is scheduled for next Friday.
