Three people ended up in prison with a measure carried out by the carabinieri of Lercara Friddi, in the Palermo area. According to investigators, they were planning murders and organizing property crimes.

Antonino Lo Bue, 52, and the brothers Francesco and Pietro Pecoraro, aged 63 and 57 respectively, are all residents of Roccapalumba. The first is accused of attempted extortion from a public administrator and an aggravated threat to a public official, crimes aggravated by having acted in a mafia manner; the brothers of receiving stolen goods and possession of firearms.

Lo Bue also allegedly threatened with death the representatives of the police who would have fined him, because he demanded that the sanctions be lifted.
