Four years in prison.

This is the sentence imposed on Giuliano Rossini, a 42-year-old from Brescia who had buried 15 million euros in his home garden, accumulated through tax evasion , as part of a half-billion-euro maxi-fraud and a round of invoices issued for non-existent operations for about 90 million euros.

At the end of the first instance trial, celebrated in Brescia with an abbreviated rite, Rossini's wife, Silvia Fornari, was also sentenced to the same 4-year sentence, as was his son and sister-in-law, both sentenced to 3 years, 10 months and 20 days.
