Christian Di Martino, the deputy inspector of the State Police stabbed by a 37-year-old Moroccan, Hassan Hamis, at the Milan Lambrate train station, is still hospitalized in serious condition.

According to the reconstruction of what happened, Di Martino - 35 years old - had intervened together with his colleagues to stop the man who, in a state of alteration, had thrown stones at a woman, injured in the temple, and then started walking dangerously on the tracks .

The officer, also to prevent him from being hit by a passing train , then tried to stop him with the taser, but the jacket worn by the 37-year-old "blocked" the discharge. Then a hand-to-hand fight began, during which Hamis pulled out a large knife, stabbing Di Martino at least three times, hitting him in the kidney, spleen and duodenum.

Then the rescue and emergency transport to the Niguarda hospital, where the policeman underwent surgical operations and numerous transfusions.

The Moroccan was instead arrested. The investigations revealed that he was already well known to the police and that in 20 years he would have provided the authorities with as many different identities. Not only that: three expulsion orders were pending against him, which however were never carried out.
