Investigations continue on the story that saw a 40-year-old woman as protagonist, found naked in the car with her 8-year-old daughter - also without clothes - at the Darsena di Pisa , in a confusional state, on Easter night.

From what we learn, neither the woman, who is of Sardinian origin but resident in Brescia, nor the child - rescued by the carabinieri after being noticed by a security guard - showed signs of violence or hypothermia. Their health appeared to be good and the mother had apparently not been on drugs, drugs or alcohol.

So the military are trying to find out why the two were three hundred kilometers from home, in those conditions.

The sister of the 40-year-old had reported him missing , after having stopped hearing from him. One of the hypotheses leads to a suicide project, in which the woman may have intended to involve her little daughter. Another hypothesis is that the woman reached Tuscany with the intention of arriving, it is not clear for what reason, in Livorno and embarking for Sardinia . Once in Pisa, according to a reconstruction published in the local press, she would have decided, once sighting the dock, to stop and take a bath in the water with her daughter, "to purify herself" , she would have explained.

But, as mentioned, there are still many obscure points on which the military is trying to shed light.
