Fabio Petruzzi , lawyer for the Caliendo family, has announced the date, time, and location of the funeral for little Domenico. On Wednesday, March 4th , at 3:00 PM, in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Nola , there will be a final farewell to the two-year-old boy, who died on February 21st at Monaldi Hospital in Naples following a transplant of a damaged heart.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni may also be present at the funeral. Petruzzi also confirmed this in statements to reporters outside the courtroom where the hearing was held: "She would like to be there, consistent with her institutional commitments." The autopsy on little Domenico's body will be performed today after the conclusion of the evidentiary hearing, which lasted over three hours, before Judge Mariano Sorrentino. The experts have been assigned their duties and will have 120 days to provide their conclusions. The court will return on September 11th.
